Westfield
Sportscars Ltd have produced kit cars in the UK for over twenty
years now. The most common and successful kit model is the Westfield
SE. The SE was inspired by Colin Chapman's Lotus 7 - a car that has
inspired many kit replicas all over the world.
The SE model from Westfield is a front-engined, rear wheel drive car
with a live axle as per the original Lotus 7. The SEi is the same apart
from a Westfield in-house designed fully independent rear suspension
setup. And finally the SEiW completes the line-up, which is a wider
cockpit version of the SEi. Westfield have also produced a Lotus Eleven
replica and continue to broaden their range with their newest design,
the XTR.
